ABOUT SONYA

I live in Merced, California with my husband Sammy and my three wonderful kids, Ariana, Isaac, and Jazmine. 

 

I have been taking photographs of all things since my freshman year of college.  I studied Art which included Photography classes to compliment my Marketing and Communications studies.  I worked on my college paper as a photographer taking photos of everything including events and sports.

For the past 13 years, I have consistently taken photos of Emergency Serivces in my role at Riggs Ambulance Service.  Last year, after my youngest daughter graduated from High School, I did two things:  I switched careers and I started my own business.  I now work for Stanislaus County where I get to use my photography skills to promote career recruitments, events, and photos used in reports and publications.

Starting my own photography business has always been a bucket list opportunity for me and I am so happy to be offering these services to people in my community aside from my family and friends.
